September 11, 2023 – McCarthy Tétrault welcomes partner Bruce Karn to our Business Law and Construction Groups in Toronto. With extensive industry expertise, Bruce will advise key stakeholders, including owners and developers, on some of Canada’s largest and most complex construction projects.

Bruce will be working with clients from a range of industries including green power generation (including nuclear and renewables), industrial, commercial and institutional construction. Having acted on multi-million and multi-billion projects in the residential and commercial real estate, transportation, rail and LRT, manufacturing, industrial, technology, power, health care and education sectors, Bruce has an acute understanding of how to navigate the manifest construction risks that projects often face. With in-house experience as a senior legal advisor at one of Canada’s largest construction firms, Bruce's experience on the supplier side will provide our clients with unique insight into contractors’ perceptions of key project risks and help identify and resolve issues early.
