Selina Lee-Andersen joins McCarthy Tétrault’s environmental, Aboriginal, and regulatory practice

McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to welcome Selina Lee-Andersen back to the firm as a partner in the national Business Law Group. Selina is an accomplished lawyer, skilled in environmental, Aboriginal, regulatory and climate change law across key sectors, including mining, oil and gas, renewable energy and emerging technologies, electricity, infrastructure, and transportation.

Selina works with clients to maximize opportunities and navigate compliance and regulations on their major projects, and for those looking to structure their operations to include initiatives that involve clean technologies, carbon markets and pricing, ESG, and business arrangements that facilitate and support the participation of Indigenous communities. She has extensive experience in environmental assessments and project permitting, contaminated site matters, ISO-based environmental management systems and industry certification programs, federal and provincial greenhouse gas reporting requirements, corporate carbon disclosure requirements under securities legislation, carbon offset systems, and renewable energy credits, health and safety, ethics and all related compliance requirements.
