Toronto, February 3, 2020 – McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to welcome Casey Halladay as an Equity Partner in the Firm’s Competition/Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group in Toronto.

Casey is an experienced competition lawyer, with particular expertise in cartel and civil investigations, competition litigation and merger review. He brings a unique analytical approach to these issues, having practiced with top-tier competition/antitrust firms in Washington, London and Toronto. The strategic addition of Casey solidifies the Firm’s strength in handling contentious competition matters, and complements its leading work in the areas of merger control, joint ventures and commercial practices. Known for his pragmatic and commercially-minded approach, Casey regularly advises clients on Competition Bureau investigations, including with respect to cartels, misleading representations, dominance and other reviewable conduct matters.
