Toronto, June 26, 2019 — Recognized as a diversity and inclusion leader, CEO Dave Leonard has been named Senior Executive of the Year (Eastern Canada) by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) in its 2019 Awards of Success. This award recognizes a senior leader for their outstanding contribution and commitment to diversity and inclusion or human rights and equity within their organization.

Winning amongst a record number of nominees, Dave has taken ownership of McCarthy Tétrault’s diversity, inclusion and corporate social responsibility agenda. A true change-maker, Dave spearheaded the launch of Inclusion Now, a progressive, four-year plan to ensure that diversity, inclusion and corporate social responsibility inform every aspect of who we are as a firm, and how we do business.
