Kiana is an associate in our Business Law Group in Calgary. Her practice focuses on general corporate and securities matters, including corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions

Kiana has experience advising clients on a variety of corporate transactions, including private placements, public and private M&A’s and debt and equity public offerings. Her practice also involves advising issuers with respect to continuous disclosure obligations to ensure regulatory compliance with securities laws and stock exchange rules.

Kiana received her JD from Queen’s University in 2021 and BSc (Honours) in Medicinal Chemistry in 2018 from the University of New Brunswick.

Kiana was called to the Alberta bar in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Kiana practiced business law at a major international law firm.
