On March 24, 2009, TEAL Exploration & Mining Incorporated ("TEAL") announced the completion of the previously announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") involving TEAL, African Rainbow Minerals Limited ("ARM"), Companhia Vale do Rio Doce ("Vale") and two wholly-owned subsidiaries of ARM, 42685 Yukon Inc. and 42696 Yukon Inc.
McCarthy Tétrault advised TEAL with a team led by Brian Graves and Gary Litwack.
TEAL Exploration & Mining, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, engages in the exploration and development of mineral properties located in Namibia, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Mozambique. It primarily explores for copper, nickel, zinc, and gold properties.
