NVIDIA acquires TransGaming's Cross-Platform Portability Technology

On June 16, 2015,  NVIDIA Corporation closed the acquisition of TransGaming Inc.'s cross-platform portability technology. The technology is part of the TransGaming's Graphics and Portability Group and includes Cider™, its core-enablement or translation and related technologies, along with associated customer relationships, but not SwiftShader, the world's fastest pure software 3D rendering technology, and related patents.

NVIDIA is a worldwide technology company based in Santa Clara, California. NVIDIA manufactures graphics processing units (GPUs), as well as system on a chip units (SOCs) for the mobile computing market.

TransGaming, based in Toronto, provides global brands and audiences with the freedom to play by offering on-demand cloud gaming service,  and cross-platform capabilities to enable PC & console titles for leading games.
