On July 24, 2006, Liquor Barn Income Fund (LBN-U:CN), acquired two retail stores in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The retail outlets were previously owned and operated by 761836 Alberta Ltd., 894663 Alberta Ltd. and 894668 Alberta Ltd.
McCarthy Tétrault, led by Richard Balfour, and including Robin Mahood and Sven Milelli, acted as legal counsel to Liquor Barn Income Fund in the transaction.
