On September 6, 2017, LeddarTech Inc. completed a combined investment of US$101 million  led by Osram GmbH and including Delphi, Magneti Marelli and Integrated Device Technology, Inc. as strategic investors, as well as Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

This financing is significant because it will allow LeddarTech to enhance its ASIC development efforts, expand its R&D team, and accelerate ongoing LiDAR development programs with select Tier-1 automotive customers for rapid market deployment.

LeddarTech is the developer of a proprietary LiDAR system solution for object detection and ranging based in Quebec. LeddarTech's Leddar  system enables the development of highly customizable and cost-effective sensing devices for multiple markets including automotive, drones, intelligent transport systems (ITS), and industrial automation.
