Le Plateau Wind Power L.P. completes C$250 million project financing

On May 9, 2011, Le Plateau Wind Power L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Invenergy Wind LLC, entered into a credit agreement with Royal Bank of Canada, as administration agent, and the lenders party thereto as lenders, establishing project financing credit facilities in excess of $250 million (the “Project Financing”). The Project Financing related to a wind power energy generation facility located in the Ruisseau-Ferguson unorganized territory in the MRC d'Avignon in Québec (the “Project”). The Project Financing will be used for the development, construction, ownership and operation of the Project.

The Project is a 138.6 MW wind power project and is scheduled for completion in December of 2011. The Project will utilize 60 Enercon E-70 wind turbines supplied by Enercon Canada, and will generate enough renewable energy to power more than 45,000 homes.

Le Plateau is a wholly owned subsidiary of Invenergy.  Invenergy, headquartered in Chicage, Illinois, develops, owns, and operates power generation facilities in North America and Europe.
