On August 1, 2023, John Bean Technologies Corporation ("JBT") closed a definitive agreement with Oshkosh Corporation ("Oshkosh") for the sale of JBT's AeroTech company for US$800 million.

JBT, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a global technology solutions provider for the food and beverage industry that designs, produces, and services products and systems for a broad range of end markets.

Oshkosh, headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is a global company that designs and manufactures specialty and access equipment under the brands of JLG, Pierce, Oshkosh Defense, McNeilus, IMT, Frontline, Jerr-Dan, Oshkosh Airport Products, and London.
