On August 5, 2022, First Student, Inc., through its subsidiary Autobus Transco (1988) Inc., closed its purchase of the assets relating to the Quebec-City division and business of Groupe Intercar, a 114-bus acquisition comprising school transportation, shuttle, charter bus operations, coach services, and intercity bus transit in the Province of Quebec, and includes Intercar locations in Quebec City, Baie-Comeau, and Sept-Iles.

First Student, Inc. is North America's largest provider of school bus services, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
