On October 25, 2012, Desjardins-Innovatech s.e.c closed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Société Innovatech Québec et Chaudière-Appalaches, including almost all of the investment portfolio.

Desjardins-Innovatech, a public-private partnership managed by Desjardins Venture Capital, was created in July 2005 through a joint initiative of the Government of Québec and Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP represented Desjardins-Innovatech, as acquiror. The team was led by Francois Amyot, and included Mathieu Laflamme, Mathieu LeBlanc, Charles-Antoine Soulière and Myreille Gilbert.
