On July 12, 2021, Gestion Desjardins Capital Inc. and Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins invested C$60 million in Fonds QScale S.E.C.

Fonds QScale S.E.C. is developing an C$867 million high-density data processing centre located in Lévis, Québec, with energy recovery to power greenhouses producing small fruits and tomatoes. As part of this financing round, the Government of Québec invested C$90 million in equity and debt through Investissement Québec and private investors invested C$45 million in equity.

Gestion Desjardins Capital Inc. is a fund manager that offers strategic and financial support to growing businesses and innovative start-ups in Quebec. It specializes in investment capital and venture capital.
