Canadian Market Infrastructure Committee seeks counsel in connection with Canadian derivatives regulatory reform

We are counsel to the Canadian Market Infrastructure Committee (CMIC) in connection with Canadian financial services regulatory reform relating to derivatives in 2022.

CMIC was established in 2010 to represent the consolidated views of Canadian market participants on proposed regulatory changes. The membership of CMIC includesof the following: Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of Montreal, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, National Bank of Canada, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board, Royal Bank of Canada, The Bank of Nova Scotia and The Toronto-Dominion Bank.
