On November 14, 2023, Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. ("Innergex") completed the financing of the Gilles-Lefrançois, Miller Creek and Rutherford Creek hydroelectric facilities with The Canada Life Assurance Company ("Canada Life") for C$179.9 million.

Innergex, based in Longueuil, Quebec, is an independent renewable power producer which develops, acquires, owns and operates hydroelectric facilities, wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities with operations in Canada, the United States, France, and Chile.

Canada Life, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, provides insurance, wealth management, and healthcare benefit products and services in Canada, the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Germany, and in Ireland through Irish Life.
