On March 26, 2024, ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp. ("ElectraMeccanica"), a designer and assembler of electric vehicles was acquired by Xos, Inc. ("Xos") by way of a statutory plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia).
