Known for her strong written advocacy and problem-solving skills, Lauren goes above and beyond to assist clients with their most complex litigation needs.

Lauren Weaver is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She is building a general litigation practice, with a focus on appellate litigation and professional liability. While articling with the firm, Lauren assisted with a number of complex litigation matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, Court of Appeal for Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Tax Court of Canada, and Ontario Consent and Capacity Board.

Lauren received a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor from McGill University. During law school, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Law Journal and a Student Advocate with the International Refugee Assistance Project.

Before pursuing her law degrees, Lauren worked as a paralegal at a leading immigration law firm in New York. She received her Masters of Arts from New York University in 2015 and her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma in 2012.

Lauren was called to the Ontario bar in 2022. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
