Geneviève St-Cyr Larkin is a Partner in our Litigation Group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation more particularly related to banking law, fraud and securities, white collar defence, regulatory compliance, and internal investigations.

She also has a specific expertise in international trade. She provides advice to clients regarding the application of Canadian trade law, including anti-dumping, countervail and safeguard measures, and economic sanctions.

Geneviève’s experience includes:

  • representing financial institutions in complex civil law suits and class actions;
  • representing a defendant in one of the biggest penal insider trading cases in Canadian history;
  • conducting multijurisdictional internal investigation on allegations of corruption of public officials;
  • advising corporations on the economic and penal consequences of criminal and regulatory accusations;
  • representing public corporations in criminal and regulatory investigations by federal and provincial authorities;
  • advising corporations during anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations.

Geneviève completed her degree in civil law and her Master of Business Administration at Université de Sherbrooke. Through the co-op program, Geneviève completed an internship with the internal audit team of a major public Canadian corporation. She also spent a semester studying international law at Université de Montpellier 1 in France.

Geneviève is a member of the board of the Association des MBA du Québec. Between 2017 and 2019, Geneviève acted as President of the board of the Young Directors of the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations.
