Staicia Shedden is a law clerk in our Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. Staicia support our clients with various commercial real estate transactions, from commencement to completion. Her skills include acquisitions, dispositions; financing, land development, renewable energy, and mining projects. Staicia possesses the technical knowledge for the pertinent legal concepts and principles related to all aspects of real property and planning.

Experience

Staicia began her career in the legal profession by supporting legal counsel at various size firms in mortgage enforcement, landlord and tenant disputes; as well as garnishment proceedings. She eventually honed her skills in commercial real estate and has extensive experience in identifying and resolving title defects, negotiating title insurance, preparing and registering conveyancing and financing documentation, and assisting in all facets of real property transactions. Staicia has developed particular expertise in organizing and coordinating large multi-property transactions in various jurisdictions across Canada.
