Shakeera Luthra is a law clerk in our Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. Shakeera specializes in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, land assemblies and mortgage financings of office, retail and apartment buildings, shopping centres and industrial properties.

Experience

Shakeera began her career in the legal profession in small to mid-size law firms practicing residential real estate. She broadened her skills to commercial real estate and before joining McCarthy Tétrault, worked for two (2) internationally recognized firms in Toronto. Shakeera supports clients by assisting in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including conducting and reviewing due diligence searches; drafting title memos and colour-coded reference plans, drafting closing agendas and closing documents and attending to registration of title documents.
