Samantha is a J.D. student at the University of Ottawa in the English Common Law program. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and public policy at the University of Guelph before entering law school. 

In law school, she has been a volunteer with Ottawa’s Pro Bono Student Canada chapter. She was co-president of Ftx Productions (Ottawa’s law school musical) and was the director of choreography. She is co-president of the Indigenous Law Students Governance (ILSG), where she has been advocating for the needs of Indigenous students within the Faculty of Law. She organized and moderated ILSG’s very first panel, focusing on Indigenous peoples’ right to safe and clean water. She also won the 2024 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. 

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys beading, choreographing dances, hiking, and playing soccer.
