Born in Bangladesh and raised in Oman, Sam received his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law in 2023. He completed a clinical term at The Law Centre, where he gained first-hand experience in client interviewing, mediation, trial work, and advocacy by appearing before the Provincial Court, B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, and other administrative bodies. He completed a clinical term at the Business Law Clinic as well. 

Some highlights of Sam’s volunteering record include his work as an upper-year student in a Pro Bono Students Canada legal project involving a local refugee resettlement organization. From 2021 to 2022, he served as an elected student member of the Faculty of Law Admissions Committee, rendering decisions on incoming first-year and transfer applications.

Before law school, Sam completed a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Victoria, and a Liberal Arts Diploma from the University of the Fraser Valley.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys being creative, making chai, and hosting dinner nights.
