Mehak is a Juris Doctor candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School. During her time at Osgoode, Mehak found fulfillment in her placement at Parkdale Community Legal Services Centre in Fall 2023. Additionally, she has been an active member of the Muslim Law Student Association at Osgoode Hall, most recently serving as their VP of Communications. 

Prior to attending law school, Mehak earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University, majoring in Law and Philosophy, with a focus on Marketing and Business Ethics.

Mehak's keen interest in tax, international trade, and competition law is evidenced by her professional roles in accounting and regulatory settings, including positions at the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and the Canada Revenue Agency. Passionate about community service, Mehak also played a pivotal role as a founding member of the Vancouver chapter of the international non-profit organization Who is Hussain. 

Mehak’s hobbies include playing sports such as badminton, swimming, and boxing. She also enjoys reading novels and writing poetry.
