Josée Sasseville is a paraprofessional in the Real Property and Planning group in our Montréal office. She assists with a variety of aspects of real estate transactions, including purchases and sales of commercial and residential real estate portfolios, financings, including construction financings, development and construction. She performs searches and due diligence inquiries, prepares reports of due diligence search results, including off-title inquiries, reviews leases for the purposes of preparing notices of lease, prepares and reviews statements of adjustments and of disbursements for transactions, and performs general searches at the Land Register, the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights, the Bank Act Registry and the Registry of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy. Josée also has relevant knowledge of all formalities required for the publication of various acts at the Land Register.

Experience

Prior to joining our firm in 2018, Josée worked for over 23 years at other national law firms, as well as certain notarial firms, which provided her with multidisciplinary legal experience.
