Team Value and Skills

Isabel Gonzales is a paralegal in our Business Law Services Group in Vancouver.  As a member of the Due Diligence Team, she conducts searches and prepares reports relating to mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and corporate finance transactions.  She assists with the Personal Property Security Act filings across Canada and coordinates Uniform Commercial Code filings with agents across the U.S. required to complete secured lending transactions. To add value for her clients, Isabel blends knowledge, skills and experience with the understanding of the importance of due diligence information crucial in a particular transaction, and observes timeliness of required filings to complete such transaction.

Experience

Isabel's role at the firm is a culmination of 18 years experience and skills earned supporting lawyers in public M&A, securities (both agency and issuer work) and commercial lending transactions in boutique, national and global firms.  Prior to working for Canadian law firms, Isabel proactively contributed innovative ideas and strategies as a legislative and policy researcher with the think tank arm of the Philippine Legislature.
