Haley Wong is the Director of Professional Resources for McCarthy Tetrault’s Toronto office, where she is responsible for junior associates (Years 1 to 3) in the Business and Real Property practice groups. She also helps to oversee the Toronto office’s student program. Working with the firm’s national and local leadership, Haley focuses on associate and student professional development, lawyer lateral and student recruitment, and other professional development and equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives within the firm.

Haley is a 2016 Ontario Call who previously practiced in commercial real estate at another full-service firm. Her practice focused on general commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions of large commercial properties and financing of commercial real estate acquisitions acting for both lenders and borrowers. Prior to joining the firm, Haley was the Student Director for the Toronto and Ottawa offices of an international law firm. She oversaw all aspects of the student program, including recruitment, integration and performance management. She also supported the firm`s lateral lawyer recruitment activities.
