Erich Schultze is an associate in McCarthy Tetrault’s National Tax Group, based in the firm’s Toronto office. Erich maintains a broad practice in both tax planning and disputes and has a background in civil litigation.

Erich received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2019. Prior to law school, Erich was a grade 9 history teacher in Boston, MA and he holds a Master’s degree in teaching from the Sposato Graduate School of Education. Erich also holds an undergraduate degree in social studies from Harvard University, where he graduated with honours and was co-captain of the Varsity Lightweight Rowing team.

Erich was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
