Emmanuel is going into his third year at Peter A. Allard School of Law. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy at University of Windsor before entering Allard Law. Prior to law school, he worked as a Human resource manager and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at University of Windsor.

In law school, Emmanuel is an active member of the Allard Law student community. He has held several volunteer positions including as the Director of Communications & Advocacy for the Black Law Students Association (UBC chapter) and as a clinician for the Law Students Legal Aid Program. He is also the co-founder and vice-president of the Allard BIPOC Alliance, a group that aims to foster a sense of belonging for BIPOC law students through bridging disparities in the legal community. This past summer, Emmanuel worked with Enbridge Gas Inc.’s in-house legal team on various corporate law matters.

Emmanuel spends his free time exploring new cultures through food and spontaneous travelling. He also enjoys catching up with friends over a game of soccer and winding down after a long day with a classic comedic movie.
