Artem is a second-year student at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Artem earned an Honours degree in International Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. While there, he was heavily involved with the school’s JDC case competition, both as a participant and academic coach. 

After graduating, Artem worked for Anheuser-Bush Inbev, the world’s largest brewer. He spent a year working on optimization projects across different cities in Canada and the United States before transitioning into a sales role. While managing his territory, Artem improved market share in key retail segments in a declining industry. 

At law school, Artem participates in moots, having won Ottawa Law’s Nelligan moot in his first year. Artem is also dedicated to helping first-year law students, working as the Teaching Assistant for both the Introduction to Property and Tort law courses. Last summer, Artem worked at a small Real Estate law practice, conducting due diligence on the purchase and sale of various property. 

In his free time, Artem loves to cook and stay active. He participates in a variety of sports but enjoys volleyball the most. His intramural volleyball team won first place last year in Ottawa.
