On December 9, 2022, Waterfront Toronto and a joint venture ("Quayside Impact") between Dream Unlimited Corp. and Great Gulf Group signed a Project Agreement to develop the Quayside Lands. The Quayside Lands are a 12-acre (4.9 hectare) site at Parliament and Queens Quay on Lake Ontario, and constitute a key part of Toronto’s waterfront. The project will deliver much-needed housing (including more than 800 affordable housing units) and new public spaces, all in Canada’s largest all-electric, zero-carbon master-planned community.

Waterfront Toronto operates as a public advocate and steward of waterfront revitalization in Toronto. It facilitates the development of projects on Toronto’s iconic waterfront lands, including projects that deliver residential, commercial, retail, institutional and public spaces.

Dream Unlimited Corp, headquartered in Toronto, is an asset manager, owner and developer of real estate.

Great Gulf Group is a Toronto-based real estate company that designs, constructs, and sells luxury homes, master-planned communities and high-rise condominiums, resort properties and conference centers, and office towers and shopping malls.

McCarthy Tétrault advised Waterfront Toronto with a team led by Brad Nicpon that included Abraham Costin, Cynthia MacDougall, and Nick Sciuk.
