On March 10, 2006, The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority (TransLink) finalized the agreement with Golden Crossing Group to design, build, finance, operate, maintain and rehabilitate the Golden Ears Bridge (the GEB Project) and associated road network.  The bridge opened to traffic on June 16, 2009.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP acted for the lenders to the project with a team led by Byran Gibson that also included Sarah Bird, Linda Brown, and Chris Falk.
