On November 30, 2012, Primaris Retail REIT announced that it completed the previously announced acquisition of two shopping centres from The Cadillac Fairview Corporation for C$317.6 million. Primaris purchased Regent Mall in Fredericton, New Brunswick and McAllister Place in Saint John, New Brunswick.

McAllister Place is a fully enclosed regional shopping centre in Saint John, New Brunswick containing rentable area of approximately 488,000 square feet; it was built in 1978 and underwent renovations and expansions in 1989, 1996, 1998, 2009 and 2011.

Regent Mall is a fully enclosed regional shopping centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick containing rentable area of approximately 488,000 square feet; it was built in 1976 and underwent renovations and expansions in 1990, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2001 and 2010.
