On March 31, 2006, PECO, Inc. acquired Omnex Control Systems, Inc. of Vancouver, BC, Canada, forming a wholly-owned subsidiary named Omnex Control Systems ULC.

Omnex Inc. is an international organization that provides quality consulting, training and software services.

PECO, formerly the Philadelphia Electric Company, is an energy company founded in 1881 and incorporated in 1929. It became part of Exelon Corporation (NYSE: EXC) in 2000 when it merged with Unicom.

McCarthy Tétrault advised Omnex with a team that was led by Ted Koffman.
