Northland Power sells 54 MW Mount Miller wind farm to NextEra

On December 16, 2010, Northland Power Income Fund ("Northland") announced that it has agreed to sell its 54 MW Mont Miller wind farm located near Murdochville, Québec, to NextEra Energy Canada.
The Mont Miller wind farm was co-developed by Northland and 3Ci Inc., a Québec-based developer, and achieved commercial operation in 2005. Mont Miller has a contract to sell all of its power to Hydro-Québec until 2026.
