On March 21, 2019, The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company ("Manulife") sold Regional Power Inc. to Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and Desjardins.

Regional Power develops, builds, refurbishes and operates renewable energy power plants and has been developing and operating independent power projects since the mid-1980s.  Regional Power’s assets include three operating run-of-river hydroelectric projects with a combined installed capacity of approximately 70 megawatts (MW) and a pipeline of development stage wind and hydro generation opportunities.

CC&L Infrastructure, part of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd., invest in middle-market infrastructure and infrastructure-like assets and companies with highly attractive risk-return characteristics, long lives and the potential to generate stable cash flow.
