InstarAGF Essential Infrastructure Fund Partners acquire stake in Skyservice Investments Inc.

On September 18, 2017, InstarAGF Asset Management Inc. (“InstarAGF”) announced that it has acquired majority equity ownership interest in Skyservice Investments Inc. (“Skyservice”), through the InstarAGF Essential Infrastructure Fund. The sellers included Fulcrum Capital Partners, which had made an equity investment in Skyservice in 2012.

Skyservice is the leading provider of business aviation services operating in strategically located facilities within Canada. It manages the largest fleet of aircraft in Canada.

InstarAGF focuses on mid-sized infrastructure, real assets and private equity investments. It owns an interest in the passenger terminal at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. The acquisition of Skyservice offers an exceptional opportunity to further expand its service offering and geographic footprint.
