Instar Asset Management sells wind power facilities to Canadian Power Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of CK Group

On June 1, 2021, CK Group's wholly-owned subsidiary Canadian Power Holdings Inc. announced an agreement to acquire two wind power facilities located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia from Instar Asset Management Inc., including the assumption of certain debt from the seller. The two wind farms, the Pennask Wind Farm and the Shinish Creek Wind Farm, have a combined capacity of 30 MW.

Instar is a North American-focused investment platform focusing on energy utilities, civil and social infrastructure, real assets and other alternative investments.

Headquartered in Calgary, Canadian Power Holdings Inc. is an investor focused on generating assets in the electricity sector in North America.
