On November 14, 2008, Innergex CAR, L.P. obtained credit facilities from two major banks to finance its interest in the Carleton Wind Energy wind farm project located in Carleton, Québec. The Carleton wind farm is comprised of 73 wind turbines having 109.5 MW of total installed capacity.  Under the transaction, a consortium of lenders will provide Innergex with C$53.4 million to complete the project.

Innergex Renewable Energy is a developer, owner and operator of run-of-river hydroelectric facilities, wind energy, and solar farms in North America.
