On October 22, 2009, HSBC Bank Canada and Bentall L.P. announced that HSBC Bank Canada has signed an agreement to lease a new state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable corporate centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. The new HSBC Centre at Broadway and Renfrew Streets is expected to be ready for occupancy in early 2012. The building will be developed by Bentall L.P. and is part of the Broadway Tech Centre, which is owned by British Columbia Investment Management Corporation.
