On August 17, 2021, Hopper closed a US$175 million Series G financing led by GPI Capital. Other participants included Glade Brook Capital, WestCap, Goldman Sachs Growth and Accomplice. Hopper has stated that the funds will be used to accelerate the company's growth across several fronts including customer support, and hiring new staff for their operations.

GPI Capital, based in New York, is an alternative investment firm specializing in growth equity investments in technology, consumer and industrial companies.

Hopper is a Montreal-based startup technology platform that connects travelers with customized experiences and recommendations.

McCarthy Tétrault advised GPI Capital with a team led by Véronique Wattiez-Larose that included Fred Purkey (Tax) and Martha Harrison (International Trade).
