On August 7, 2009, Emerisque Branks UK Limited and SKNL North America, B.V., together with their assignees, completed the purchase of substantially all of the assets of Coppley Apparel Group Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hartmarx Corporation. The transaction took place in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada).

In a separate but related transaction, the purchasers acquired substantially all of the assets of Hartmarx Corporation and certain of its wholly-owned United States subsidiaries.

The aggregate purchase price for the acquired assets of both Coppley and Hartmarx was about US$87.9 million.
