On September 28, 2008, Concert Real Estate Corporation completed its purchase of eight industrial properties in Calgary, Alberta from The Great West Life Assurance Company and RMA Properties Ltd. The properties are fully developed, comprising nine tenanted buildings, totalling approximately 475,000 square feet. Six buildings are located in northeast Calgary and the remaining three buildings are located in southeast Calgary. The total purchase price for the properties was C$45.2 million.
