On August 21st, 2015, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board announced that an affiliate of its wholly owned subsidiary, CPPIB Credit Investments Inc. had completed the acquisition from GE Capital of 100% of GE Capital’s sponsor lending portfolio unit , Antares Capital, for a total consideration of US$12 billion.
