On July, 20, 2007, Arriscraft International Income Fund (the “Fund”) completed its previously announced sale of the Fund’s operating subsidiaries to certain affiliates of General Shale Brick, Inc. of Johnson City, Tennessee, an affiliate of Wienerberger AG, the largest brick company in the world headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The proceeds of the sale, after taking into account estimated transaction costs and wind-up costs, were paid to the Fund’s unitholders on July 24, 2007 by way of a special distribution and the redemption of the outstanding Fund units for an amount of $7.65 per unit plus $0.20 per unit held in reserve. The transaction represents a positive outcome for Arriscraft, its unitholders and its employees, resulting in a combination that promises to reinforce Arriscraft's position as a leading North American manufactured stone producer.

McCarthy Tétrault advised Arriscraft with a team that was led by Andrew Parker.
