On May 5, 2020, Aptose Biosciences Inc. finalized its equity distribution agreement with Piper Sandler and Canaccord Genuity, acting as co-agents, to sell at-the-market offerings on the Nasdaq for Aptose. The common share offering will be by way of prospectus supplement and would have an aggregate offering price of up to US$75 million.

Aptose, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is a biopharmaceutical company. It focuses on the discovery, research and development of anti-cancer therapies.

McCarthy Tetrault advised Aptose with a team led by Charles-Antoine Soulière that included Myreille Gilbert, David Martin, and Annie Poirier-Simard.
