On September 17, 2019, Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. acquired The Luminaires Group (TLG), a leading provider of specification-grade luminaires for commercial, institutional, hospitality and municipal markets. The acquisition complements and diversifies Acuity Brands' extensive portfolio of lighting products.

The Luminaires Group, based in Montreal, supplies indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures marketed to architects, landscape architects, interior designers and engineers through five niche lighting brands: a-light, Cyclone, Eureka, Luminaire LED and Luminis.

Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlanta-based Acuity Brands, Inc., a global corporation specializing in lighting and building management solutions.
