Yassine is currently completing his bachelor's degree in law at Laval University. He will graduate in fall 2021 and complete his bachelor's degree with a student exchange session at the Western Ontario Faculty of Law.

During his studies Yassine became involved in student life as a member of the Face-to-Face Debate committee. He was also a member of the Bureau d’information Juridique (BIJ) of Université Laval. Organization whose goal is access to justice for citizens of the Quebec City region by providing them with a legal information service in a multitude of fields.
