Wendes Keung is an associate in our Technology Group in Toronto. She provides practical solutions and actionable advice to clients on a variety of corporate and commercial, technology, and privacy matters. Her practice includes advising on complex service engagements, outsourcing transactions, privacy and security issues, corporate governance, risk management, strategic partnerships, and software licensing. Her experience with assisting clients spans a broad array of industries, including financial institutions, cloud computing, software development, and healthcare and telemedicine.

Wendes is an active member of the legal community, an advocate for women in law, and a proponent for the development and advancement of technology law. She is passionate about keeping up with new and emerging technologies, digital transformation, and applying innovative and creative solutions to meet client objectives. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of CAN-TECH’s Women in Technology Committee.

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Wendes practiced at a leading law firm in Toronto.

Wendes obtained her Bachelor of Honours in English Language & Literature from Queen’s University, where she graduated as the Gold Medalist. She received her JD with Honours from the University of Toronto in 2019. Wendes was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
