Tiago completed his law degree (LL.B.) at Université de Montréal and will complete his articling at McCarthy Tétrault's Montreal office in 2025.

Tiago is deeply involved in his faculty. During his first year of undergraduate studies, he took part in a medical liability simulation. During his second year, he became responsible for the latter as part of his mandate on the Health Law Committee. During his second year, he also acted as his faculty's representative to the Canadian Bar Association, Québec Division, which enabled him to play an important role in promoting the interests of the student community.

As he entered his final year of his bachelor’s degree, Tiago became involved as vice-president of career development for the UdeM Law Students' Association. During his tenure, in addition to encouraging career diversity in the legal profession, he also took part in drafting a policy against sexual violence in university associative activities. Finally, during the same year, he clerked with a judge at the Superior Court of Quebec.

In his spare time, Tiago loves running, hiking, swimming and cycling.
